IMMEDIATE START- Dental Assistant Vacancy
Job description: We are close knitted, friendly team of 5 employees. We are looking for candidate with previous dental experience, however extra training can be provide for the right candidate with required skill set. This is a part time position. 24 hours per week. The ideal candidate should be: Have chairside dental assisting experience or be willing to learn the key roles of dental assisting. Has excellent time management skills. Reliable, presentable and excellent team player. Have knowledge of EXCAT software but not mandatory as training can be provided. Role Responsibilities: Preparing trays for each patient with right instruments, materials, records or equipment required at the end of the day for the next day or immediately before every appointment. Assisting dentist for every patient throughout the appointment and following dentists instructions as required promptly. Ensure that positive experience is provided to each patient. Processing x-rays, pouring impressions of patients models and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts. Packaging the dental lab work. Disinfecting between patients and follow infection control guidelines at all times during work to prevent cross infection. Perform foil test, leak test and helix test at start of each day. Sterilization of instruments and ensuring that cycles are running to avoid shortage of clean instruments. At the end of the day, both the surgeries should be cleaned and everything shut down as required for the practice to be locked. Willingness to learn new things within the scope of dental assisting as required. Staff meetings and training sessions are attended as required.
